CTG's premier global client in Durham, NC has a 6-month assignment for a Proof Reader of Scientific Labeling. There is the potential of extension at the end of the initial contract.

The maximum W2 hourly pay rate will be $30.30/hr (based on experience)

Will assist the Label Specialist to support the existing label process and transition to digital labeling through proof reading and extracting information from pesticide labels into database.

Proofread and compare pesticide labels with tools like DocuProof within the Quality assurance process.

Extract information from label documents into Bayer’s internal databases.

Work with company’s internal label management database.

Support the label specialist in applying label changes requested from the business.

Apply technical basis knowhow to product chemistry related projects.

Manage and lead multiple tasks in a complex environment.

Communicate well and clearly with different customers and the team.

Liaise with required business partners and work independently.


Ability to work competently in Microsoft Word while deconstructing and standardizing documents.

Must have a high standard of personal accuracy.

Sound understanding of record maintenance requirements and recordkeeping processes.

Proficient in reading, proof reading, and understanding technical documents.

Advanced computer skills in database and word processing programs.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Position requires independence and responsibility in setting priorities to meet deadlines.

Must enjoy a fast paced working environment with multiple projects being executed at any specific time.
