Project Location: Corning, NY

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Work Hours: Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm (some flexability)

OT: On a case by case basis

Required Skills

• Process Power Control system design and deployment including 480 VAC 3 phase power

• AutoCAD electrical and Solid works CAD experience

• Experience with Transformer design, SCR power control, power distribution to process equipment

• Familiar with electrical system design including control panel layouts, component selection, and schematics

• Understands regulations applicable to area of expertise and works to ensure compliance (NEC, NFPA, CE, etc.)

• Incorporates safety and risk analysis into equipment designs.

• Excellent problem solving skills

• Ability to work in technical project teams in leadership and team member roles

• General computer and networking knowledge

Desired Skills:

work experience in controls systems design, engineering and/or manufacturing.

• Project management experience, including developing project scope, budgets and schedules

• Experience with thermal process manufacturing,

• Drafting ability with Solidworks and/or AutoCAD

• Data retrieval, plotting and analysis

• Strong communication and presentation skills

Soft Skills:

• Ability to work closely with internal customers around the world to meet customer requirements

• Ability to work individually and on teams to execute projects on time, on budget, and with expected results

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong initiative

• Self-motivated

Education: 4 year Engineering Degree highly desired

Experience: 3 years of industry exp

PPE: Standard PPE will be provided by the client. Workers must bring their own safety shoes.

Manager Must Haves:

• Knowledge of Electrical power Control Systems

• Familiar with electrical system design including control panel layouts, component selection, and schematics

• Excellent problem solving skills

• Skilled in AutoCAD and Solid Works
