CTG's premier global client in Cleveland, OH, 44111, has a 12 month assignment for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk 2.

Major Contributing Activities:

Performs all necessary support for managing the warehouse functions which supports the Cleveland Facility, sister plant locations, customers and contract workers within building 600 and Strongsville. Continues to improve working relationships between all area/locations and other plant functions.Responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory, receiving, shipping, and order functions which includes procurement of new containers and ECOAT dry materials. Provides a monthly consumption to suppliers. Associates will take part in supplier performance evaluations and will be involved in all aspects of inventory control including quality inspections and inventory control audits performs by PPG and suppliers. Must have a complete working knowledge of the WITS applications for the receiving, shipping, preassembly functions inventory adjustments. And Tandem applications for receiving, OS shipping, and inventory adjustments. Must be knowledgeable with inter-company departments to ensure accurate delivery of inbound materials. Distributes and oversees work flow and communicates to Building 600 and Strongsville associates. Generates labels through GPS and WITS applications for material stored at Building 600, Strongsville, and Amware. Associate is also responsible for procurement of all consumables used within the distribution departments (building 28, building 600, and Strongsville). Also provides procurement and making of labels for plant and labs. Associate will need to assure all Distribution vehicles are registered and street-safe and handle the scheduling of required department PM and repairs. Associate will communicate Distribution statistics, generate financial statements and provide status analysis to department heads and suppliers monthly or as requested. Position requires associate to drive and maintain a high level of 5S in work area for building 600 and Strongsville.


High School education or equivalent experience in inventory management and/or production scheduling; computer proficiency with business software including Microsoft Suite software; strong mathematics proficiency and accuracy and effective communications, planning, writing, problem solving and prioritizing skills. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Detail oriented. Incumbent should have strong organizational skills with a high degree of flexibility and an ability to establish priorities and accomplish a variety of duties in a timely manner with minimum supervision. Working knowledge of all WITS applications for the functions performed in the warehouse. Working knowledge of Tandem for the order servicing and inventory control. Working knowledge of Bartender and GPS Label for labeling. Since our computer systems will be moving to Oracle, Oracle experience would be plus.

This position is compensated per hour on a W2 hourly basis (no C2C or 1099's).
