Data and Reporting Analyst
We have a full-time permanent opportunity for an experienced Data & Reporting Analyst to work onsite for our client located in Clayton, MO. Successful candidates should have experience performing operational and financial audits related to processes and systems impacting healthcare claims payment accuracy. This position reports to the Vice President.

Perform operational and financial audits related to processes and systems impacting claims payment accuracy.
Gather and interpret business requirements, verify accuracy and completeness of requirements to source documents, and analyze data trends to identify issues
Identify risks by monitoring contract implementation and configuration performance
Develop queries and reports to identify and analyze errors (e.g. fee schedules)
Participate in multiple projects and meet timelines effectively, communicate risks, and facilitate corrective action plans
Audit various system configurations for accuracy
Maintain thorough audit documentation and assist in trending issues
Bachelor’s degree in related field finance, economics, statistics or equivalent experience
1-2 years of auditing, accounting, healthcare contracting, or healthcare data analysis experience
An understanding of healthcare industry terminology and strong analytical skills required Knowledge of Business Objects, SQL, ACL, Microsoft Applications (including Excel and Access) preferred
Must be able to communicate effectively and be able to provide insight based on results and trends
