CTG is immediately hiring aTechnical Writer with DITA and Knowledge Center experience.Previous IBM experience is preferred.

  • Job Duration: 12 months

  • Job Location – Riverside Plaza, Chicago, IL – work onsite 2 days per week with the other days work remote from home

Job Responsibilities & Desired Skills for the Technical Writer Include:

  • Strong DITA experience

  • Strong experience with Information Center or Knowledge Center

  • Languages: DITA, HTML, SGML, XML, IDWB

  • Authoring/Editing Tools: Arbortext Epic Editor, Adobe FrameMaker/Acrobat, Oxygen Editor

  • Software Management: IBM CMVC, IDCMS

  • One or more years technical information development experience, including technical writing, editing and file management

  • Exceptional knowledge of the grammar and structure of the English language.

  • Excellent reading comprehension

  • High degree of organizational skills

  • Working knowledge of basic networking concepts

  • Previous IBM experience, proficient editorial competence, with the ability to follow and apply the IBM Style guidelines where appropriate

  • Innovative person who is knowledgeable and interested in implementing the latest technology

Additional Information:
