Computer Task Group is seeking a Hardware Engineer Sr for a 1 year contract position at their client's location in Moorestown, NJ.

Description

Hardware engineer experienced with the selection, utilization, integration and test of COTS processors, switches and routers, VME modules and sub-assemblies. Support manufacturing build and test at component through system test levels.

**Candidate must have an Active Secret Clearance or one that has been active in the last two years.

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory:

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering. Minimum of 6 years of professional level experience. Demonstrated experience supporting the production build and test and debug of complex commercial systems containing items such as Cisco Switches, Routers, VME based modules. Also demonstrated experience installing and rebuilding commercial operating systems such as Vx Works, Red Hawk Linux, Windows and COTS equipment proprietary operating environments. Experience in testing and debugging various military and industry standard interface types including FDDI, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, NTDS A/B, NTDS E, and NTDS D. Experience and proven superior performance in the use of commercial real time operating systems and development environments including Tornado / Vx Works and Concurrent Power MAX. Experience with or strong academic background in System Networking. Experience with writing Unix shell or Tera Term scripts for test automation. Hands on experience working in an integration and test environment and production environment. Knowledgeable in the use of digital and network test equipment. Experience developing and executing factory acceptance test procedures. Experience as a Network Systems Engineer with Linux based OS System Administrator skills. Willingness to perform physical tasks relating to movement of test gear, packing and carrying equipment boxes. Willing to travel occasionally for brief periods of time. And willingness to support shift work to meet test resource requirements.

MS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
