CTG is seeking a healthcare business analyst to support our client's business intelligence and analytics needs.

Location: Buffalo, NY

Duration : 7 months

Qualified candidates will be responsible for supporting multiple projects with heavy emphasis on data analytic solutions. Consultant will be responsible for working with business users, developing use cases and defining requirements, providing support through testing and validation of solutions, implementation and user training.

Prior experience working with Pentaho BI (will consider Cognos or similar) and Analytics Tools including extensive SQL query experience is required.

Candidates should have previous experience working with HL7 on other healthcare data transaction types.

Prior experience working with healthcare data (physician group, hospital, EMR, or insurer) is highly preferred.

Experience with BI and Analytics tools, preferably Pentaho, but would accept Cognos or other similar experience

Require Strong SQL querying skills

Require experience working with healthcare data sets and/or HL7 data

Proficiency with JSON and/or experience with Elastic Search/Kibana desirable

Proven experience working with demanding timelines while working on multiple initiatives at once.
