CTG's premier global client in Berkely, CA has a 6-month contract assignment for a Lab Technician. There is the potential for extension after the initial contract period.

The W2 hourly pay rate will be $25.00/hr.

DEPARTMENT:

Manufacturing Sciences: Support Manufacturing by providing technical and scientific guidance.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Performs laboratory experiments to provide data for process improvement and process understanding.


Works with operations, engineering and maintenance functions to support projects activities.


Organizes and analyzes data from studies.


Works with minimal supervision after training and ensures laboratory safety protocols are followed.

QUALIFICATIONS:


BS in chemistry, biology, chemical/bioengineering or life sciences


Must be comfortable with routine lab operations.


Troubleshoot typical problems encountered during routine purification operations.


Demonstrate knowledge of equipment and laboratory techniques used in protein purification.


Technical writing, record keeping, and strong communication skills.


Hands-on experience working with lab systems such as AKTA Explorer/Pure liquid chromatography system is desirable.


Familiarity with cell culture and/or fill finish processes is desirable.
